Skype webcam not working when running windows 10 on bootcamp

Hi, i am having a problem that my webcam does not work when running Skype on Windows in bootcamp. I have tried updating all the apple windows support software and when i do this Skype works fine, but then a couple of days later it is not working again. The green light is on by the camera but it is just a black screen and the person i am on the skype call with cannot see me.

I have tried running skype on IOS when i boot to the mac drive and it works perfectly and then when i immediately reboot into windows then the webcam also works fine on Skype for Windows, but then a day or two later the same problem happens again.

It only seems to be a problem with my MacBook Air 2019 as i have two older macbooks where skype works perfectly in Windows. Does anybody have any potential solutions to this?
