How do I sync my iPad on a Mac

I have a related question: I got all the photos and other data successfully synced but I also would like to sync my Safari bookmarks from my MacBook Pro to my 'new' iPad, I don't see an option for this. How can I accomplish this? Thank you!

My systems: MacBook Pro with High Sierra 10.13.6; iPad: 4th gen with OS 10.3.4

You need to be running iOS 11 in order to sync bookmarks with your Mac. The Mac meets the requirements but your iPad doesn't not.
