cant send photo as an attachment

We understand you're unable to send photo messages after updating to iOS 14.2. We'd be happy to help.

If you're unable to send photo messages, are you having this issue when sending through iMessage, MMS, or both? Also, are you having issues sending any other kind of messages?

Next, please review and complete the troubleshooting steps at the following link for issues sending messages:

If you can't send or receive messages on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Lastly, if issues persist afterward, be sure all is well on your wireless carrier side of things also.

Thanks for clarifying that for us. Sounds like you're actually having issues sending emails with photos attached as a file instead of embedded into the email.
