Synchronization
I have two iPads, with two separate identities but they are synchronizing with their searches, viewing. I don’t want that as we have separate interests and quite frankly privacy. How do I stop this?

The Golden Rule: Don’t share an AppleID between users. Each user should have their own AppleID for their own exclusive use - linked to their own primary email (and secondary/recovery email addresses and trusted telephone numbers). Sharing an AppleID causes multiple practical and data security issues - including unwanted sharing of data.
You would be best advised to separate your digital identities and configure a new AppleID for the second user:
How to create a new Apple ID – Apple Support
Hello Rdfefarmgirl,
Welcome to Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you're having trouble with your iPads syncing your search history. We are happy to share information that may help.
It sounds like you may be using the same Apple ID to sync the browsing history on your iPads. Check under Settings > your name to see if you're using the same Apple ID on both devices.
You may also want to check under Settings > your name > iCloud > Safari. If you're using the same Apple ID, you may want to disable Safari in iCloud. You may also want to check out the details here: If your iCloud or Safari bookmarks aren’t syncing.
Take care.
