Contact name change

So my contact information was based on my married name. How do I change it so it’s reflected in message contact? I thought I changed it when I went into my Apple ID and changed the name, but my mom still has my married name, and even if I send a link to myself via text it shows my old name. How do I get rid of my former married name from all contacts?
