You can't access iCloud files from the lost Mac book , however if you had another browser sign in with the Apple ID and password with the account credentials that were used to sign in in the lost Mac book , in iCloud Drive section double click on the documents folder to view files .

Select a file take cursor on top menu bar and click on file > open file .
