Hold for my AirPods replacement

Hey ! Okay so I just requested a replacement for my AirPods because they are no longer working. This hold thats being placed on my card isn't a charge right(under the one year warranty)? Once I return my old ones, they'll take the hold off and no money will be removed from my account?

Were you specifically told by an Apple representative that these replacement AirPods will be free under the 1-year hardware warranty, and to return the defective ones? If so, then the hold should be removed after Apple receives them.
