Scratch repair for iPhone 4?

Looking for a good scratch repair kit or directions for relatively deep scratches on iPhone 4 front and back glasses. I work in landscaping/construction and have been careful with it but still scratched a few spots. I'm going to get the Clear-Coat protection but I want to remove the scratches first. Thanks.

Alas it is very difficult to polish out scratches from glass - it is just too hard.

About the only compound you might use is Cerium Oxide - look it up in Wikipedia. It is sometimes available for polishing light scratches from auto windscreens.

However any attempt to polish an iPhone 4 glass might remove the oleophobic layer.
