Chromecast not working on iOS 14.2

I updated iOS 14.2 and chromecast is still not working on iPhone or iPad with any streaming app.

all devices are on same wifi next work.

Local network is turned on in privacy and each streaming app.

restarted all devices and modem.


can anyone offer a solution?

the only information I have found online and by the streaming apps/google is to ensure local network is activated.

We did some checking and were able to find Learn more: Local Network Access for Casting - Google Support which seems like the go-to for information on ensuring that your Chromecast works as expected in iOS 14. If you run into any issues with those steps, we'd suggest contacting Chromecast Support for more assistance.
