Click to highlight one of your PDF files, press the Command and i keys, the files info panel will be displayed.

Go to Open With and click on the app selector and choose another app to open your PDFs.

When you have changed the app you want to open PFDs from Adobe to another app from the list

press Change All. This will ensure that all PDFs will now open in the app you requested.
