So i have this old iphone 5c from a while ago. One day the battery blew up and broke the screen. I am wondering if i can plug the phone into my mac to recover the pictures. Or if that’s a stupid idea and it’s going to start a fire or something. Or is there a different way i can recover the pictures? The apple id is different than the phone i’m using now.

Yes, it is a BAD idea.
Anything on that phone that wasn't already backed up is gone.
It poses a fire hazard even without plugging it in. Get it out of your house.
You won't be able to use that iPhone. If you have a backup you can retrieve whatever you backed up.
I know i can’t use it, i’m wondering if it’s a bad idea to plug it into the computer to recover the photos.Thankyou for answering though!!!
