More resolution than 1280x800 on MacBook Pro 13'' screen?

Hi there!,

I am having MacBook Pro 13''. The maximum resolution available for my screen is 1280x800. keeping the same aspect ratio, can I increase my resolution by downloading any display drivers or something?

I really really need it!

No, there's no way. 1280 x 800 is the number of physical pixels in the display. They can be used to simulate a lower resolution by blurring them, but they can't simulate a higher resolution. Get an external display or a larger MBP if you need a screen with greater resolution.

No, there isn't, short of building a one-of-a-kind display yourself. Apple has nothing you could use.

Another option, if you require a better resolution...

Sell the 13" MacBook Pro and buy a 15" with the 1440x900 resolution. But as eww stated, you'll need to go with an external display for a better resolution. The Mini DisplayPort will support up to 2560x1600 on an external monitor.
