Apple Watch 5 lost charge.

I never use more than half of my battery charge since buying the watch in Jan 2020. I always put it on charge when I go to bed and it always has at least 8 hours charge. This morning when I took it off charge, it showed just the RED lightning sign and Apple logo. Why has it not charged and how did it lose all its charge?

We understand that when you took your Apple Watch off the charger, you saw the red lightning sign and Apple logo. It is possible that the charger didn't have a good connection overnight and the Apple Watch didn't get a good charge. If you tried charging it again and are getting the same thing, take a look at the following support article to address charging issues with the Apple Watch:
