Some files not possible to empty from Bin

Have checked with Post Haste - the files are all from a silly test session with that software - vendor and he can not help. Anyway - I am stuck with these files in the bin - not that it is a size issue - they are just in total 42kb, but I would like to keep control of the bin - simply. In the older days I would have tried with Secure Empty Trash. Just upgraded to Big Sur, but had the same issue prior to that.

Very happy for some good advice here from the community.

We've got a few steps you can take to help get your Trash emptied. This includes checking and stopping the background processes that may be running, disabling login items and testing in safe mode. Take a look at the steps listed in the article below. Keep us updated if you continue to run into issues.

After running the "recovery start" and disk utility - no errors found - and restarting again - the Bin shows empty. So something was repaired in re-writing the file structure. Hope it remains like this. Took screen shots of the clean Bin for eventual Apple support if they return (again).

Well - after re-mounting my raid and backup disks - they re-appeared. I had clearly forgotten that the trash in the bin was from a test I did on the raid drive (I am an idiot). After doing the recovery disk utility routine on the raid disk I gave up my effort yesterday. I then reached out to Apple support and will hopefully have my 2nd discussion with them today - 1st gave same result as mine - a question mark.

Thanks! I started with the "secure start" and the troubled files did not occur in the bin. Restarted again and they were still there. Will try the "recovery process" - when back to the desk.
