The new GarageBand 10.4.1. doesn't import from Music

I downloaded the new GarageBand 10.4.1. For my disappoint the button that was there before to see the files in Music and Videos where I used to track to do my DJ job, simply disappear. I try to reinstall the GarageBand again to see if I could get the old version but it seams impossible. One mor deception with this new Mac system!!!

Can anyone help me?

Thanks

The Media Browser is gone from the GarageBand toolbar. If you look at the Help for the new GarageBand you will see, that we now have to import audio files by dragging them into a track using the Finder. Import audio and MIDI files in GarageBand on Mac - Apple Support

I am now adding the files from Music to a GarageBand project doing this:

  • Launch Music, then find the song I want to use.
  • I ctrl-click the song and use the command "Show in Finder" from the menu, that will pop up.
  • Then I drag the revealed file in the Finder to the track in the GarageBand window.
