I tried to upgrade to Big Sur, but upon completion of the installation it presents a black screen and the computer completely freezes. I have read documents about this situation, but on macbook air from 2014. My question is if there is already an update in Big Sur to work properly on this computer?

You'd have to ask the developers if they app supports Big Sur.

With these indications I can restart with the previous operating system that is Mojave, but I cannot install Big Sur until they release an improved version.
