I have iPhone 12 pro max , i want to update the software and it’s hanging on estimating time remaining

You may not use a Hotspot or cellular data. Once you’re on conventional Wi-Fi (or 5G cellular), resume the download.

You mean i shouldn’t use another phone hotspots ?

Yes, that is what I mean. Additionally, you should not have your iPhone’s Hotspot functioning while doing an iOS update.
