IPhone 12 Pro Max flashing a teal blue color?

After update ios, and restore factory from itunes, the problem still exist.

At last i brought my iphone 12 pro to authorized dealer and get guarantee. They replaced the screen for free. Hope this problems disappear for good.

I just turned off the True Tone on the Display in settings and it stopped it turned it back on and the teal color came back so that’s the problem right there

i went to the store where i bought this "expensive" phone (we dont have applestore here), they told me to update ios (seems like they dont want to give replacement) , and untill today 29 january 2021, this blinking thing still happens.

this problem first arose at ios 14.2 , then i update to ios 14.3 as told, this problem still appears, 2 days ago i update to ios 14.4 and it is getting worse. i hope apple has solution for this and i believe this is not software problem, this is the screen fault

After reading all the comments, it looks as if there is a bug in the 12 Pro Max. I suggest contacting Apple support about it and see what they do.

When i went to the apple they told that if i want a replacement i can get one but that the problem is with the software and not the phone and actually it only happened to me one time and that’s it, they told me that they were going to drop a software update and solve it.

Hello, Im sorry I am just seeing this, but it has to do with your phone settings. Go to Settings—> Display & Brightness—> True Tone—> Off.

Do y’all by any chance have magnetic cases on your phones? I chatted with apple but it’s no help. But they did last minute mention I could get a new one. My phone is 10 days old.. should be happening.

My phone just flashed the teal color on my home screen. I thought I had accidentally made the phone go into high contrast mode or something. I was tapping the back of the phone thinking I accidentally turned on that setting where tapping the back of the phone toggles on a setting but it wasn’t that. Next I tried going into settings to see if high contrast mode got turned on somehow, but by the time the settings screen came up the teal color turned back to white, and I went back to the home screen and everything was normal. iPhone 12 Pro Max here on iOS 14.4.

I just experienced this today 04/22/2021 as well. I thought I was on a wrong website or I accidentally clicked on a bad web link. Currently on 14.4.2. I will be resetting my phone to default and restoring it from iTunes. I wonder if this will help. I have not reached out to Apple Customer Service yet. I think I will though so they can have it on record on my phones serial.

Mine too. I bought my iphone 12 pro at 18 desember 2020 and about 1 week of using the screen start blinking blue for 1-2 seconds sometimes. At first i thought it was apps bug, but it happens sometimes at homescreen too, so i thought it was the screen's fault.

Me too. I have an iPhone 12 Pro. The first time it was teal for a while so I turned the screen off and on and it was normal again. The next time it only flickered teal for a second. This last time just now it flickered teal again for about 2 seconds. It probably started with iOS 14.3. I’m on 14.4 right now, still with the same issue.
