For some reason, the animoji button disapeared from my messaging app? My memoji is still there and I can still attach it as a sticker, but I cannot create an animoji message because the button to create one is missing.
iPhone 8
The only buttons there are dealing with the Animoji are the sticker or the Memoji. Since your iPhone 8 does not support Memoji, you would only have the ability to do a sticker. I cannot duplicate that on my iPhone since I have the iPhone 12 Pro, but This comes from this support document. Use Memoji on your iPhone or iPad Pro - Apple Support
