Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:
- Press and quickly release Volume UP button
- Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
- Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).
Also if the above procedure does not resolve the issue then check to see whether the iPhone still behaves the way you described without its case (if it is in a case). Make sure that the screen protector (if installed) is installed probably. Have you updated your iPhone to latest available iOS version? IF nothing works then have your iPhone examined at the Apple or at an Apple Authorized Service Center.
