every time I try to access mail.yahoo.com
Carolyn, I saw this posted answer and possibly you can help me. This morning i tried to get into my Yahoo mail accounts and the sign up would not accept my ID or password. I don't know if I have a compromised computer (powerbook G-4 macos10.4.11 (tiger)
This morning I did go on to one of my accounts successfully, and did get one mail in my spam folder and it had something purported to be from Yahoo stating that i have been infected by a TROJAN HORSE and directed me to log on to my account--I DId NOT do this and deleted the spam.
I changed my e-mail address with yahoo and still can't open the new ones. Yahoo is never helpful as you may know.
Can you help?
Carolyn, I forgot to mention that I can access my yahoo mail from another computer.
Thanks
Carolyn,it's pompguy again.
I tried the trashing of cache db, and it did not help, perhaps this advice was not meant for my situation, but any, way the thing is back in the cache file and it is flashing as cache Db journal and i can't get rid of it. The original item is back also. It asks if I want to open it but i need an application?
Thanks
This is pompguy again. Believe it or not, I think my yahoo mail problem has been solved(keeping my toes and fingers crossed)
what I did is uncheck the "keep signed in " box when signing in, and i can now access all my addresses.
It must be a bug and yahoo was no help as usual. (I must uncheck this each time i sign in)
Only question left is the flashing "cache DB journal" in the library, but assume this is not a problem?
