iPhone 12 camera “ghost reflection” is this a defect?


Hello, I just picked up the iPhone 12 today and noticed a issue where in some photos images will haves a ghost like reflection in the image. I was wondering if this was normal or a defect in the camera and should return it to Apple?

This is a normal occurrence that can happen depending on the lighting of a photo. To avoid this try using Night mode to take photos when lighting is low. Follow the steps in the "Take low-light photos with Night mode" section of this article:
