Does iphone 12 use the same charge connector and cord as my iphone 6s?

Yes the Iphone 12 models come with a cable. Just not an adapter. If you have a lightening port (can’t recall what the iPhone 6s has) then yes you can still use the same cord. The iPhone 12 Pro models (perhaps the iPhone 12 also) comes with a usb-c to lightening cable but you can still use a usb to lightening cable also
