how do I return my iPhone on installment plan to Apple

What are the steps to return my iPhone 12 back to Apple after I installed my iPhone 13? What steps do I take to prepare it for shipment?

Are you asking about in the future since there is no iPhone 13 yet?

Yes, sorry I meant I need to return my iPhone 11. I didn't get a "trade-in kit" as stated in the article you attached. There are NO instructions in the box with the new iPhone on how to return the old one.
