IPhone Storage

How is it posible that I deleted more than 2 thousand photos today and not only did It not free up any space, but now my iPhone has 5 additional gb??? (Doing absolutely nothing else)

Crappy system, where does this cache go

and how can I delete it?

by the way, the pics were also deleted from the trash folder and ICloud and Syncing with iTunes is deactivated.

seriously, last iPhone I’ll ever had.
