Why is my iPhone 12 only allowing me to text and FaceTime from my email? I have already went into settings to try and change it so it is just my phone number. Once I did that it wouldn’t let me FaceTime or text

Have you added the phone number to your Apple ID? You need to change/add the number on your Apple ID. After the change, allow up to 24 hours for the change to sync. Before trying to make the change, sign out of Messages/FaceTime on all devices/computers.
