Does the Apple Watch need to be used with an iPhone?
My dad doesn’t use iPhone or any smartphone. Do u need in order to use I watch? We like the fall detection and ekg feature. But he won’t use a smartphone

An apple watch has to have an iphone.
Family sharing isn't an option either because the following features are not available;
The following features and apps are not available: irregular heart rhythm notifications, ECG, Cycle Tracking, Sleep, Blood Oxygen, Podcasts, Remote, News, Home and Shortcuts and fall detection requires a phone number.
