My IPad can’t screen record plz help

I can’t record youtube videos due to “null”. My software is messed up, I can’t update due to not being connected to the internet. I have a 15Mbps line ADSL Not able to play certain games such as Hill climb racing 2. What can I do? This is an IPad Air first Gen I am stuck on IPadOS 12.4.7 can’t update to 12.4.9 plz help. I consulted with my dad if I should take my iPad to repairs but that will cost a fortune. Please help I need answers I think it’s a hardware problem.

Tell us what test you tried to record your screen. Could you expand on what you mean by "null"? Did you not find a video in photos after screen recording?

Name exact software that is not working and what the problem is.


I can’t update due to not being connected to the internet. I have a 15Mbps line ADSL

drop the connection in settings. reconnect & see if things improve.


If you are having problems with apps stalling or crashing,

-- double click on home button

-- swipe up on all the apps to force quit them


Re-boot ipad. power off router. wait power on.


Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until a red slider appears, then drag the slider. Then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears. 

Restart your iPhone - Apple Support


force power down if the above give you trouble.

Hold down both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button. Ten seconds or more.  Hold until the Apple logo appears.

Hello Unbeatable2fire,


It sounds as though you're able to connect to a Wi-Fi network, but not able to load content in data enabled apps. If this is the case, and you are seeing that Wi-Fi is connected in Settings > Wi-Fi? If you're successfully connected to a Wi-Fi, and you have a VPN installed or enabled please disable the VPN. If you continue to have issues with the VPN disabled, or no VPN exists the next step would be to restart the modem and router by disconnecting them from power, then power them back on.

I think they mean by the device was not able to save the recording due to not enough RAM. If the device was a PC you could just add more RAM and a huge Heatsync at the CPU, but with an iPad you can't, you have to buy a device with more RAM or Memory. Thermal throttling is another issue. It stops performance, so I suggest you keep your device cool by buying some type of device water cooler.
