USB-A vs. USB-C and iPhone 11 charging

I recently upgraded from the iPhone 6 to iPhone 11. Is it safe to use the usb-a outlet adapter plus lightning cable to charge my iPhone 11 or should I use the usb-c outlet adapter plus lightning cable?
