Cannot import scan from iPhone to Keynote

iPhone 11S, 14.2 , 16" MBP 10.15.7

Insert>Import from iPhone>Scan>Could not import from “iPhone”

Is unreliable seems to be a timing issue

Import from iPhone option missing from Mac control click menu. I am a frequent user of this feature but it has recently gone missing from my control click menu as well as all file or insert menus. Anyone else experiencing this issue or know a fix?
