iPhone 12 pro max camera

I’m having that same problem too. I was told to back up the phone and do a factory reset which I did. It seemed as though the problem disappeared - at least right after I reset it. I went into a dark room and took a picture.... seemed to be gone. But then it came back later that day. I’m taking it to the Apple Store tonight and hoping they’re going to replace it.

For goodness sake’s… It is also happening on my three week old iPhone 12 pro. I’m assuming like others, I should make an appointment at the Apple store and take this in? Thoughts? I have tried rebooting the phone and this is in the portrait mode only.

so I’ve been having this issue since pretty much the since I got it 20th February.. they told me that it was just a 3rd party app and if it happened in the camera to come back. It’s happened in the camera once or twice now rebooting it normally works and I tend to notice I happen low battery mode and less than 15% sometimes..

Mine has red lines when in a dark spot on either the cam app or 3rd party. I have requested Apple to change the device.

I am also having this issue. I purchased my phone from Verizon. The store said they do not have the phone in stock and I would need to call customer service. I am glad I am not the only one having this issue. I am waiting on hold for their assistance. I hope they will replace it with brand new one as I just got this.

I think this may be a software issue. I just noticed it today and I’ve had mine for a few weeks now. Some photos you see the lines on screen during the photo and in the photo library they’re part of the photo. Others, the lines have disappeared from the photo after it has been taken. It’s very odd but I’ve taken low light photos a few days ago that didn’t have this defect. I have to assume it’s software since there’s been no change to my hardware since I’ve noticed it (no drops or damage, high or low temperature exposure or moisture).

Mine went away when I rebooted the phone, so it’s definitely software related. If a reboot doesn’t fix your report to apple and hopefully they get a software update out either way that addresses this!

Received my iPhone 12 Pro Max and noticed this same camera bug a few days later. I contacted support and they said to try rebooting the phone. I rebooted and it worked. However as of today the lines have come back, 3 weeks later perhaps. I am concerned with their return it may be some type of hardware connection

I've had the same problem where there were green and purple horizontal lines on top of the screen when I try to turn the camera on in the dark. The lines stayed in the pictures as well. I contacted apple and they ran a diagnosis on my phone and found no problems. They asked me to restart the device and then the lines just disappeared.

Its been several weeks since my reboot and it has been fine / not come back. It’s software related and will likely be addressed in the next software update. Just report your experience to apple so they’re aware of the bug and can address the cause. Reboot if it comes back until then. I suspect it’s a software bug in the lowlight processing.

It also same with my phone too. The first time, I just reset my all settings, eventually it gone, but afterwards about few days later, it came back, so I just reset it again. Hope apple take this problem seriously, it quite annoying when you want to take a nice night view.

I had try to call to the customer service, they told me to restore my iPhone, so until now it didn’t happen again, so maybe you can try it. I think this is the only solution for this problem.

I have the same thing!! Red and green lines going across the screen !!!
