Blocked numbers
I have blocked a number but they are still able to text me how can I stop them from doing this as blocking them isn’t doing it

I am not sue what process did you use to block neither you have mentioned it.
To add a contact from Messages or FaceTime, go to Settings > Messages or Settings > FaceTime, tap BlockedContacts. Then scroll down, tap Add New, then select the contact that you want to block. To add a contact from Mail, go to Settings > Mail, then tap Blocked.
