Ipad photo storage question
I need to free up space on IPad. I have plenty of space in ICloud, and have iCloud photos enabled. If I delete photos from my iPad, will the original still remain in iCloud?

No, they will be deleted on iCloud too.
I suggest that you copy/archive photos from iCloud onto a computer, using these instructions:--> Archive or make copies of the information you store in iCloud - Apple Support
When done (your photos are safely stored on a computer), you can delete whatever you want from your iPad.
