I just switched SIRI off dont under stand why apple music thinks its selections are better than mine so it floods my phone with items they think i should hear

Hello Alfatom and welcome to Apple Support Communities. It appears you are having some difficulty with Siri Suggestions for the Music app appearing on your Home screen.
You can disable that feature at Settings > Siri & Search. Scroll to the Music app, tap it and toggle off the features you do not want to use under the heading On Home Screen.
