iphone 11 overheating

im having problems with overheating when i use certain apps "need for speed no limits"

When i first noticed it would take 15 to 20 races to get to point where i could feel it was way to hot & id turn it off. Now only 2 months later i get 2 or 3 races till its to hot & its freezing & cant run the app.

have i got a dud "Iphone 11" & whay do i do about it.

phone is only 6 months old, well looked after.
