trouble with teams video call on Mac OS

hey everyone ,I was recently using Microsoft Teams app on my MacBook Pro for a video call/meeting , in which the camera didn't work even though the privacy settings had the permission for my camera on teams , any suggestions for a solution ???

It might be stating the obvious, but did you check Settings > Devices to make sure that your FaceTime HD Camera (built in) was selected as the camera? (Settings is reached from the icon in the top right corner or Command/comma).


Generally it's the only choice, but Teams might have failed to recognise it. Worth checking.
