iPad won’t restart
My iPad won’t restart after the latest update. I tried the hard restart and the screen is still black. Any suggestions?

If iPad isn’t responding, do one of the following:
If iPad still doesn’t turn on, or if it gets stuck during start up, see the Apple Support article If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won’t turn on or is frozen.

Thanks for the help. I plugged it in and then did the hard restart. It was 98% charged so not sure why it had to be plugged in for it to work but glad it did. Thanks for the help LotusPilot and ProustGiulio
