iPhone is disabled tells me to connect to iTunes but nothing shows up

here is a support article for a disabled iPhone

If you forgot the passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is disabled - Apple Support

if it's not showing up in iTunes, here is an article for that

If your computer doesn't recognize your iPhone, iPad, or iPod - Apple Support
