I have a friend who’s iPad got stolen. Unfortunately he forgot his Apple ID. Is there away he can still track it?

See if he can recover the ID/password.
Apple ID - How to find your Apple An iCloud e-mail address is an Apple ID.
For the Apple ID password, enter the Apple (iCloud) ID and click Forgot Password.
If he can find the ID password
