Recovering notes lost from synchronization
I took a bunch of notes on my iPhone for a project I'm writing. iCloud synchronisation has been on the whole time. As I'm transcribing my notes from my phone to my Macbook I notice that the Macbook has a notification of my notes-app being open on my phone, and I figure I can just open it on my MacBook and copy-paste the notes, instead of transcribing them. However, as I soon find out, for one reason or another, once I open up the notebook app on my MacBook, the synchronisation decides the notes taken on the Macbook should be prioritised over the notes taken on my iPhone, and as a result it immediately deletes all notes I've taken in the last 10 days or so, with no warning (the newest notes registered are from November 20th.)
Is there any way I can recover the notes it decided to delete, or are they just lost forever?
I've tried looking it up online and most people seem to have an issue regarding e-mail synchronisation which isn't my issue, and another post from 2012 mentioned turning iCloud synchronisation on- and off and restarting the MacBook, but this has been to no avail.
