Lock volume control buttons iPhone 12

I am looking how to lock the volume control buttons on my iPhone 12 because when I’m listening to music and my phone is in my pocket the volume goes all the way up to the max or goes all the way down to silent constantly and it is very annoying. Please that has to be a way to lock the volume control to stop this happening. My old iPod could lock the volume so it Did not accidentally go up or down in my pocket and that was 20 years ago.

I also have this problem with the general volume level, but even worse it occurs with my AirPod Pro’s while they are in my EARS!!
