Why is that whenever I’m in extended network LTE the speed is dramatically reduced

Because the partner carrier’s LTE is not as fast as your primary carrier’s. Basic LTE speeds are 5-10 mbps. Major carriers get faster LTE speeds by establishing multiple channels between your phone and the tower. But not all carriers have that ability, as it requires excess capacity in the network.

Sprint is my carrier and I’m pretty sure Version is the carrier when it’s in extended LTE. I don’t know this for a fact though
I’ve talked to sprint about, we did an update but still is slow. My buddy has the exact same phone only his carrier is Verizon we both can search the same thing at the same time and his will be done while mine it still searching. I thought maybe a different carrier slows down the speed if they are not a customer
