How do I download messages from ICloud storage back onto my11pro that were deleted 11/24/20 by mistake?

Hi do I retrieve accidentally deleted messages from iCloud storage so they are back on my message thread for viewing?

iPhone 11 Pro, iOS 14

If you sync messages to iCloud when you delete them they are gone forever, because iCloud is a sync service, not an archive service.

If you don’t sync messages to iCloud they will be in an iCloud or iTunes backup made before you deleted them.

So my I charged up my 6S, quite easily figured out how to do it and it retrieved and downloaded them onto it. When I I bought this 11pro, she backdated the backup to insure anything I might want got included.

can I not do that on the 11pro? How do I do a forced backup?

You can restore the backup of the 6S to your 11 pro, but that will overwrite everything on the 11.
