The new Scribble function must be explicitly enabled in iPad Settings:

Settings > Pencil > Scribble - set to ON

You also need to know that handwriting recognition is currently limited to English and Chinese.

As for your keyboard, you may need to manually select the appropriate keyboard/language in iPad Settings; do not rely on the Automatic keyboard setting.

theres is no scıbble option ın Settings ≥ Apple Pencil, could ıt be that the reason is that my iPad ıs runiıng on iPadOS 13.7? Also is ıt normal for my iPad to be runnıng that OS even though ıts the newest model?

I had incorrectly assumed that you had updated to iPadOS14.x - as Scribble is feature of this major release. Until you update your iPad, Scribble will not be available.

After updating from iPadOS13 to iPadOS14, an additional forced-restart is recommended. Anecdotal evidence, based upon reports seen within the ASC Communities, suggest that some functions/settings do not immediately appear - and some reports indicate that several restarts have been required.

  • On an iPad with a Home button: Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
  • On other iPad models: Press and quickly release the volume up button, press and quickly release the volume down button, then press and hold the top button. When the Apple logo appears, release the button.

let me explain better, i got the iPad with its accessories yesterday morning, i set up my dads one with little issues and at night i came across this issue where there was not scribble option, this morning thanks to all your help i proceeded to update to IOS14 and reset my iPad, i have also tried disconnecting and reconnecting the pencil. I have also done a force start and still to no avail there is no scribble option.
