Can AppleCare get extra discount to buy new iPhone?

I bought an iPhone11 about on November last year, and the bought a AppleCare at the same time. The sale told me that my iPhone11 is worth half of what I paid for it when I trade in the iPhone 12 second year. So I would like to know, what should I do, how can I make a purchase online? Or should I need to go to the physical store to buy. Because the Apple web has to trade in the old for the new and there is not a choice that I can hint that I bought AppleCare.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand what purchasing AppleCare has to do with your trading in the iPhone. AppleCare has no cash value when you trade-in an iPhone. You can transfer your remaining AppleCare from an older phone to another, but you are right, there is no choice to hit that you bought AppleCare because it is a moot point for the purchase.

Oh, thank you for your reply. This is so strange, because when I bought iPhone11 and bought the AppleCare the sale told me the AppleCare not only offer one more year to repair my iPhone but also keep the half of the iPhone11 value. And I asked the other sale to make sure on October this year, and the sale also give me the same answer. So I feel a little bit puzzled.
