Final Cut Pro 10.5 to Compressor missing plugin error message on all my videos

Hi, I use Final Cut Pro 10.5 and export my videos to Compressor regularly... I am now getting a missing plugin error message on all my videos I send to Compressor...

The Titles from the video show up in Compressor as I run the scroll bar across but not video... I use both regularly and have never had this issue before... Not sure how to fix it...

I have all my updates done and restarted the computer, still sends form final cut to compressor ok and still missing plugin for the video once in compressor... I even tried upgrading to MacOS Big Sur 11.0.1 and still is doing the same thing...

Please help

It is video footage in final cut pro... It is not only the playback if I go ahead and start the batch in compressor it will complete the job and no video or audio works... It is missing the whole video plugin that is being sent from final cut...

Yes, I understand it's video. FCP doesn't send a playback plugin. The plugin has to work in the other application. Some Canon cameras, some Sony cameras, RED cameras, require plugins for playback. I assume you're using Compressor version 4.5.

I am using a Sony a7iii camera and have no issues for the past few years sending from final cut to compressor with this cameras video footage. The last clients wedding I sent that worked was Oct 23, 2020 Not sure why I am having issues all the sudden now...

Post an EtreCheck report after giving the application Full Disk Access in the Privacy System Preferences. Copy the report and use the Additional text button to add it to the reply.

I take it you don’t see the missing plugins in FCP. Did you update the Pro Video Formats?

You don't know what plugin your media needs? What exactly is the media that's being sent?

Plugins are usually for playback. I'm guess your media needs a playback plugin that is working in FCP, but not working in Compressor. What exactly is the media you're working with?
