I think the "A" number is mistyped. An "A1893" has the MR7F2xxx code prefix.
In that case it is a iPad (6th Gen) Wifi and can run the latest version of iPadOS.
From the free MacTracker database:
Have you tried upgrading with the iPad attached to a computer running iTunes?
Your iPad is too far behind in iOS upgrades/updates.
You need to plug that iPad into a computer, connected to the Internet, using the latest version of iTunes ( older Mac or Windows PC ) and let iTunes upgrade your iPad to iPadOS 14.2.
If a newer Mac with newer macOS, then you need to plug that iPad into the newer Mac and use the macOS Finder to upgrade that iPad to iPadOS 14.2.
Best of Luck to You!`
Yeah, I mistyped the number.
Well, that’s good that iPad can update, but I still got the same error. I have no idea what is wrong.
What iPad year and model do you own?
What is the “A” model number of your iPad and the “M” model number?
iPad year is 2018
The “a” is A1983 and the “m” is MR7F2HC/A
