Mute FaceTime notifications from a certain groupchat

I’ve been added to a groupchat, which I don’t mind, but they FaceTime very often, and ring people who aren’t on the call. I’ve asked them repeatedly to stop ringing me into the call and they always say just put the phone on DND or turn FaceTime off. I would do these things but I cannot keep my phone on DND and I FaceTime other group chats/people. Is there any way to figure out how to stop FaceTime notifications from this specific group or mute the calls in general?

Hi, I always put my chats on DND and that doesn’t stop the FaceTime notifications, especially when they ring you into the call. But thanks for your help.

Open the group chat. Tap on the names at the top of the chat and then tap on Info. From there, scroll to Hide Alerts. That should prevent you from being notified about a FaceTime call. Of course, it will hide all alerts for that group chat as well.

You're welcome. I wasn't sure if that would work or not since I only have one group chat and that is the family. We never start a FaceTime without texting the group first. I would guess this has to be an etiquette thing within the group. They need to respect other people's needs.
