iphone stuck on pairing mode

My iphone is stucked on pairing mode. I tried to unpair my apple watch and can’t even connect to bluetooth. What should I do?

We’d like to see if we can help with the issue you’ve been experiencing pairing or unpairing your Apple Watch and iPhone. If we understand correctly, you’re attempting to unpair the two and your iPhone is not cooperating. 


If you’re still not able to unpair or pair your Apple Watch, you might try the following:


  • Force the Watch app on your iPhone to quit (if this is where the pairing request is not responding)
  • Manually erase your Apple Watch from Settings on the watch with the instructions outlined here:

Unpair and erase your Apple Watch - Apple Support



This should effectively remove your Apple Watch from your iPhone and the attempted pairing. Depending upon your ultimate goal, you may be able to set it up again with these instructions:
