Big Sur update deleted my .Numbers files

Big Sur update cleared out my folders and I do not have any .numbers spreadsheets on my computer except the one I just created. Are the others gone forever?

Were you keeping them in iCloud Drive? If so have you signed back into iCloud and made sure your Mac is configured with iCloud Drive on with the switch next to Numbers.app switched on (behind the 'Options...' button)?

And if you weren't keeping them in iCloud Drive then you can go into Time Machine (or whatever backup system you are using) and restore them. If you aren't using a backup system now is the time to start!
